Below is the list of champions dating back over 75 years. While nowadays we are used to the WRPDIIHL divided into four leagues, it wasn't always so. There were no teams in Dutchess County until 2003, none in Putnam until 1999 and Rockland County was part of Section 9 until 1984. Up until 1970, Connecticut schools Darien and Greenwich were part of the WIIHL with the Westchester schools. And Nyack & Suffern were part of the HVHL along with schools from New Jersey, Connecticut and Westchester such as Don Bosco, St. Mary's and Hackley up until the 1973-74 season when it dissolved and the RCPSAL was formed.
Enjoy the list below and if you're a former coach, player or a long-time fan that was around way back in the day and you see any gaps in the information below that you can fill, please email me and let me know.
